8 lines of digital I/O are included on the NI SPEEDY-33, which can be easily programmed using LabVIEW DSP Module software. Once the flash memory of this educational device has been configured, the NI SPEEDY-33 is able to operate independently of the PC. Without the enclosure, the device measures dimensions of 8.89 cm × 12.7 cm × 1.91 cm (3.5 in. × 5 in. × 0.75 in.) and weighs only 87.9 g (3.1 oz).
Designed for indoor use only, the NI SPEEDY-33 should only be operated in educational environments where the temperatures range from 0 to 55 °C. When not being used, the device can be safely stored in indoor environments where the temperatures range from –20 to 70 °C.
